VIVA PERCUSSION FESTIVAL

FIRST EDITION 2018

This date was not in vain, as Brazilian percussionist day is celebrated. Therefore, the show "Marcelo Amaro e Convidados" changed to "Marcelo Amaro, Viva a
Percussion".
The Meeting was conceived, carried out and directed by Amaro, together with percussionist Tuti Rodrigues and the collective Viva a Percussão, plus the artistic production of Renata Ribeiro and Roberta Moraes. The project brought together around 30 great percussionists, in addition to singers
Anaadi, Didi Assis, Maryzelia, Manu Nascimento, Fabiola Machado and singers Nego Álvaro, Makley Matos and Gilmar Simpatia celebrating Brazilian percussionist day.

Held at the Hotel Selina Lapa (RJ), the second edition of the Viva Percussão festival, curated by percussionist Marcos Suzano, directed and produced by Marcelo Amaro, paid tribute to percussionists Beloba and Marcus Esguleba.
