♪ Two years after releasing Afro-gaúcho (2021), an original album in which he gave visibility to black people and the sound of southern Brazil, singer, composer, percussionist and producer Marcelo Amaro releases his fourth album, Sambáfrica, on September 29, with a cover that shows the artist in a photo by Cris Vicente with art by Didi Assis.
Marcelo Amaro releases EP “Afrogaúcho”

The third album by Marcelo Amaro, singer, composer and percussionist from Porto Alegre based in Rio de Janeiro for 20 years, entitled Afrogaúcho will be released on digital platforms on September 10th, with digital distribution by OneRpm/br.
The physical album will be released on November 20th, and will be for sale on social media and the artist's website . The name of the album Afrogaúcho comes from reading the book The Invisibility of the Negro in the South of Brazil – Invisibility and Territoriality, years later Marcelo Amaro composes the song Afrogaúcho, in partnership with Mamau de Castro and Dona Conceição.
